Hey guys,

Sorry about the shortage of posts lately. I’ve been focusing really intensely on my novel  and I’m happy to say I’m almost done with the first draft!
Last week I went to an awesome event benefiting a non-profit poetry library here in NYC. It’s called Poets House, It’s a wonderful organization and actually located  right in my neighborhood.
I had a writing class right before this event, so it was a challenge to find an outfit that was appropriate for both settings, along with a purse big enough to hold my giant folder of papers. I think I did pretty well Thanks to Pam for taking these pictures. She is my favorite photographer. No offense to Michael

Do you have an outfit that works for both casual and formal occasions? I’d love to know what it is. Also, any other fans of poetry out there?
