Hey guys,
My friend Pam invited me out for brunch today. I really wanted to see her, but I was hesitant to go because I’d decided to be gluten free for the month of May. I’m also vegan, so that didn’t leave me a lot of options restaurant wise. Luckily we decided on Pure Food and Wine, a raw restaurant near Union Square. There were so many things on the menu that I could choose from. It’s a great place for people with food allergies because basically the only ingredients used are raw fruits, vegetables and nuts. It actually tastes a lot better than it sounds! If you get a chance to go there, I’d highly recommend the taco salad and the mint sundae. We had a great time, and Pam was even nice enough to take my picture in the outdoor garden afterwards so I could show you all my outfit. Are any of you vegan? vegetarian? gluten free? Or just picky eaters? Whats your favorite weekend brunch spot?
xoxo
Jess
p.s.. I’m on day 5 of being gluten-free and already feeling great results. I’ll do a post on it later if anyone is interested.

it’s a bit frustrating because i can’t use scarfs too much here in our country. we’re tropical, that’s why it’s usually hot. :/ rrrrrrraaaaaaa. XD
nice outfit, anyway

I love tropical weather! I may move someplace warm and trade my scarf collection in for a sarong collection one of these days
Thanks for commenting
aww…..the bright scarf is the highlight
I wish I could use them too, but don’t stand a chance, given a place in the desert …..
Sometimes it’s just too hot for any scarf, even a summer one. Luckily here in NYC, I can wear scarves about 9 months out of the year, so I have a million of them
Thanks for your comment!
